Honestly, this is unacceptable from both SE and Steam. If anyone from Steam reads this, I need you to know that outages like these mean I will never recommend anyone to get the Steam version anymore. Also very annoyed that SE didn't do more to protect their users from this forced Steam integration in the first place, or negotiating a way for us to switch out of a Steam service account. Now, we're unable to access the service we're paying for, and seemingly neither party wants to own up/provide support.
