We monks have been asking for this for years and they keep not doing it.

I don't think that going all the way to 10 is the right answer since it can potentially add more opening burst damage than they want for the job. Another forbidden chakra is unlikely to break things, but just can see them using that as an excuse. They could also just put a restriction like chakras 6-10 can only be opened in combat.

But in my opinion, I'd rather them just raise the cap to 7. This puts the mechanic more in line with the actual real world beliefs around the chakras as well as more in line with in-game lore while also addressing the over capping problem. but even if that's not possible, if they just reduce the number of chakras needed to execute forbidden chakra from 5 to 4 that would be a big help (though that is more likely to break damage balance since you'll now get 5 uses of forbidden chakra for every 20 critical hits as opposed to 4, forcing a rebalance to the damage of the skill)
