Done, lol.
This feels more like a "for all ages" type of video than something that makes me wonder why this scholar is talking down to me. If anything the fairy should be giving the pointers. :^)

Yeah, I feel like I'm talking Japanese...![]()
I'm doing a little "virtual movie party" online with some friends soon where we're gonna watch Uncharted, so when I read this I thought "Oooh, Tom Holland was in an FFXIV ad!? I gotta link this in my Discord group!" Then I watched it. No. No, I can't link that. I have to make sure NO ONE I know ever sees this. Yikes.in the leadup to Shadowbringers there was an ad that included the likes of Tom Holland
So you now admit you dont know what "everyone"' wants. You have to understand that I speak from the perspective of someone who wants FFXIV to succeed
..aaand your solution is....?and be the best version of itself possible. If I see things that give me pause, such as these videos, I will call attention to it. I think that SE can and should do better.
So I watched the thing completely and found it quite charming. I now understand even less why this topic was made. lol
Not gonna lie, i don't like the aesthetic and literally despise the infantilizing way they present this tutorial.
This is corporate "creativity" at its finest and the fact that this is gonna be how some people might be introduce to FF14 is a disgrace.
Squeenix has missed an opportunity to work with content creator that would have done a far better work, that's sad.
This would have been awesome. They could have also used this as an opportunity to promote some of the smaller content creators. There are some really good creators out there that with a little official push would only improve the community as a whole.
Honestly, seeing as it took people several lodestone posts to even remotely understand that the issue with the housing lottery was not what they were as players assuming and that they were doubling down on this assumption despite said posts. I would say it's a very apt 'presentation'.
