If I didn't know anything about FFXIV and those videos were the first thing I saw, I have to say they would have put me off even trying the game. The art-style is very much like you'd see if you were on a work training day and for me, that is a definite turn off.

Is there a lot of useful information in there? definitely. But I feel the goofy presentation gives a false impression of the game and leaves an awful lot to be desired.

It feels really incongruous that the company is promoting FFXIV with these videos and yet at the same time they are advertising the next patch with this:

If you like the style of the video tutorials, you're probably not going to find the patch promo very appealing and vice versa.

I saw as much when i educated him as to where the actual gaming demographics are internationally. I was actually surprised at how little he actually knows. ANYONE even on periphery of modern gaming is well aware that games arent for teenies anymore, and havent been for a VERY long time.

We agree with the lackluster story writers guild. It is clear that the TV add maker is also the man who write the wrong translate story into the Japanese from the German. The Yoshi should make the Maehiro writing the grit TV add like the Game of the Thrones or the Heavensward. I do not understand why Lopprit chara Mayra in vid is surviving to the end but the No Shadow God is kill by the Venar genocide. Is because of bias towards the hero chara and theme focus on the slice of the life anime. If Maehiro writing the vid then Mayra would dye at the 1:00 mark instead of eating the burger with they friends.

It is clear now that the lackluster guild must rewrite the TV add and resubmit to correct the story course. We nominate the Madge King of All Amigos to be in charge of new add story because the Garlemald story rewrite is working to the Ayybeyond and I will rewriting the Hildabrand story to fix relic.

Please believe we will make all right with story again.

The scholar has to be an NPC since they use it outside of combat on a person that might not be in their party. Either that or Urianger is holding back hard on the WoL.

The devs would probably love it if the average Cocomelon enjoyer was their average payer for the game.

Hate to point it out, but the devs are almost certainly convinced the average "Cocomelon enjoyer" is their playerbase. They see us (and especially newer players) as crayon eating dribbling toddlers who find pressing multiple buttons a challenge and need to be hand-held. It's insulting really.
