Some aoes generaly insta kill anything except a tank, or apply status effects that are far worse. For these a rescue can realy help.

Rescue has 3 problems though that are hard to fix:
- Players do not like losing control. Especialy since in this game ability rotations can be very strict. Missing 1 ability can on that disrupt your dps for a while and on that feel very punishing. And even more since you could not control it. You just randomly get pulled. (especialy when your class can just dash out of the AoE)
- Most of the time its more efficient to take the damage, than to interupt a combo. 2 healer GCDs are more efficeint in preserving DPS, compared to wasting just 1 DPS GCD. Only if a DPS would die a rescue would be more efficient. This makes it excessively niche
- Its obsolete in expert content, since any mispositioning is already a problem there. You should never rely on any rescue taking place. A healer can just remove it from any hotbar as it only wastes space.

I think rescue should get 1 additional feature to make it better usable:
It can be used on a player that was knocked out of the arena (no corpse), to recover its corpse and allowing a res. As this is mostly in trials, and you arent supposed to die in the first place, its still a recover mechanic. But at the same time also not broken in balance, since even in this case, the killed player is causing a lot of DPS loss in the end.

Even though for the most difficult content it most likely wont be enough to truly save a team, it at least makes a knocked out player have a lesser effect. The loss of DPS will most likely still mean death here. But we shouldnt balance everything to these teams here anyway. At least in this case it could negate a death caused by lag though.
