Please add another meldable option for mage feet above lvl 42.

Currently the only real meldable options for mages in the feet slot (correct me if I am wrong or blind), are Mahogany Patterns. I think it is a bit silly that the *only* option aside from unique pieces, is actually only really useful for crafters, unless materia has been melded.

For starters they are awefully ugly on a mage class, not to mention they are completely trumped by any high level Disc. of War feet piece (Most 42+ gear has at least +3 stat points in a useful stat such as STR DEX VIT etc, alongside HP+), whereas these have very little benefit if they are not melded.

I am fine with looking like a clown on my crafting or gathering classes, but due to the lack of feet I feel like Side Show Bob when having to play on THM instead of BLM due to the lack of options.

A lot of people are using these because they are the only option in terms of meldable footwear for mages, and they are okay if you can get 2 or 3 materia on them.

But more options would be very much appreciated. Boots too! Not just crakows and pattens. ><

Might also be nice to remove the DoH-only restriction from pattens with a stat added on them, so mages could at least wear pattens of intelligence.

I knew someone would mention Vanya...

a) Vanya is not realistically obtainable by most THM/CNJ, along with getting double/trip/quad melds on it - you're talking a lottttttttt of gil.
b) For those of us who prefer to phase out AF pieces for jobs, also don't have access to Vanya (as it's class only) so we are back to our original problem of having no feet options aside from AF or clown shoes.

Ps. I know you're post wasn't a "you're stupid, get Vanya!" post, was just stating the reasons why I didn't bother mentioning it in the OP

im sure you prolly seen this by now but last patch just gave us a new pair of mage feet for all DoM.
