Also, regarding whether or not time went on during the downtime or not, I think there's a good chance that time, in fact, didn't keep going. During regular maintenance, the servers stay on. Hence, why time still goes on. However, with the servers being completely shut down, there's no way to know whether or not we'll all have tons of anima and/or Guardian's Favor when we log back in. As Isaaru and Arcell mentioned, it may re-adjust itself, but there's no guarantee. Hopefully they do! Full anima and Guardian's Favor for all!
Even if the servers are fully off a time clock still runs, do you know anything about computers? Even your home PC clock keeps going even if its not plugged in =D it has battery. If the server is setup to sync to rl clock it will match current time.
