One free company owns 13 houses in one Empyreum ward on my server.

Op Is probably new and didnt know about FC "tags".. of course One FC can only own One house (except if It Is granfathered from old rules), but almost at 100% those "different" FCs with same tags belong to the same group or ppl.
Is It allowed? Yes
Is the system working as intended? Not so sure

Yeah, I figure all the different FC's probably have some slight variation in spelling. It's clearly the same person, though (they responded to this thread, and their public discord names the specific player as the owner of the FC houses). I was just unaware multiple FC's could duplicate the same one of these -> <TAG>

(or couldn't you figure out "role selection so you could actually see our very active group?) You were in the ward seeing at least 6 small properties STILL available but they're not good enough for you! You saw this and didn't bring this information here to tell a full story did you? You lied, the properties *mostly* have the same walls, but are not all the same furnishings, and not all the placards were identical. It's your right to come here and whine to the forums, but it's not okay to only tell part of the story while making false accusations. I wish SE would ban your rumor mongering. You've blatantly admitted to leaving 6 small properties in the ward available for the peons, because your FC owns the rest. I'm not commenting on whether or not those smalls are "good enough" for me. I'm just scanning for mediums to come on sale. I already have a house.

For the sake of curiousity and discussion, then, if everything you're doing is legit, could you explain to me what you ARE doing with the 13 houses? Your discord page names a single player as the "owner of FC houses." I didn't need to dig any deeper to find this, nor did I want to. It's written there, plain as day.

As many have pointed out, maybe it was too far of me to assume RMT. I'll walk back that accusation. I've been wrong before. But there's got to be something going on with 13 empty houses. Other commenters' workshop theory seems legit so far. So, what is it?

Thanks for the compliment on my dog pic - I assume you're not a terrible human being. But what you're doing is shady. And you can report me for harassment all day long on this one. It's shady to hoard so many houses given the scarcity, especially because you don't seem to be furnishing them/using them for the enjoyment of housing itself. Call me a liar on that if you want, but I saw what I saw.

I don't think I explained myself well enough with my first post. Yes, one FC can only own one house. What I believe happened here is:

Player (or group of players) created several different FC's with slight variations in the name spelling. They tagged all of the FC's with the same identical tag.

Every house in the ward has a note on it saying that the FC house is the "property of <THIS FC>"

Additionally, the FC house notes have a discord link. In the discord, it is explicitly stated that a certain player owns the FC houses.

So while, in the most technical sense, it might be 13 different FC's owning 13 houses... it's the same FC owning most of the ward. We can argue the technicalities of it being different FC's because one is, for example, FC-NAME and another is FC-NAME* and another is FC-NAME** and so on, but the reality and the intent here is clear - all the houses are claimed as the property of the same FC. And the FC in question made it all quite public, to boot.

1) I'm not admitting to leaving anything in the ward, I mean, I don't really have control over how fast they get gobbled up though *we've* certainly made an effort. And that is a *we*
2) You might notice a glaring difference in names and I'm not just talking punctuation. The welcome message is much older than Empy, but thanks for pointing out the need to update.
3) You're concerned about me insulting you after you called us scammers and RMTers? Defensive after you went that low? SURPRISE! You are that offensive so yeah, my response is somewhat on the defense. You did convey things that weren't true as in you painted the picture to suit your grievance. If you really had been to every house and every placard you might have detected that one tag isn't even the same FC name just same tag. Some of the outside deco is very different, and one of our neighbors added the otter walls joining in on our fun. But again, I think you fabricated your visit to every placard and interior.

Something going on with 13 empty houses is that we really like to deco houses. Again, it was already stated that had you looked, you might have found a Housing Enthusiasts section of the Discord. We'll do that *inside* deco (and subs) when we we feel like it and certainly not on your schedule. Maybe we'll get started when we're done accumulating houses in the ward. One is open for you, it has a beautiful chamber; please enjoy. The rest have been locked, the discord address removed - you are no longer welcome.

I never called you out by your FC name, by your character name, by your housing ward number, or by the public discord. I’ve been as respectful as possible. So I hope you take what I say to heart: what you’re doing is selfish, and it’s wrong. And you’ve clearly admitted guilt.

I did call you a scammer. That’s because it’s scammy to take over the entire ward. I don’t know if you’re engaging in RMT or not. But whatever you’re doing, it doesn’t look good. It certainly doesn’t embody the community spirit of this game.

Because it’s one house per FC. Not one ward per FC. And they admitted all the houses belonged to the same person.
