I can't speak for it's current form, but early BnS had an interesting take on healing, you were pretty much just a DPS caster but with a couple of short cooldown burst heals. Dungeons were pretty good fun and it really allowed you to feel like you were making a genuine impact with your heals allowing the group to take far more liberties whilst also having a pretty punchy kit yourself. I believe the game has gone down the route of having much more fleshed out healing kits now but I haven't tried it to see how well things have turned out.

Warhammer online is still the peak of healing design in a theme park trinity mmo though. The healers were diverse, impactful and were all highly rewarding to play in their own way with lots of room for big risky plays that could really swing things. Anyone who says that classic trinity MMO healers need to be as monotonous as they are in FFXIV would do well to read up on how Warhammer's Warrior and Rune Priests played out. It's a huge shame that EA weren't willing to commit to the running development costs that a theme park MMO demands to succeed.
