well any job you like playing it a good way to start.
Probably WAR.
The newest old content cleared by a single WAR was o4s, as far as I can remember.
So everything "older" then that should be possible to be soloed.
Beside that. Every 50/60 content can easily be cleared with any lvl 90 job.
I'm surprised I see no mentions of Dark Knight.
In terms of utterly wrecking bosses, Dark Knight has by far the strongest burst damage, only outclassed by Ninja. If whatever you try to kill has a tight dps check or needs you to end the phase / fight quickly, then DRK is unrivalled if you stack the entire burst for it. Example: Brute Justice Savage, Gavel skip solo.
That's because you don't typically need THAT level of burst, you typically need sustain with the option for a "decent" burst window for fights like those which DRK is just "ok" in. No Mercy + Gnashing Fang and Inner Release windows are typically "good enough" while being better than DRK in the long term.
I just use MCH because of the big burst hits right out of the gate. Can kill most things quickly.
Most people say WAR because of the self healing and that's 100% true. GNB and RDM would be a distant second because you get the high burst window along with sustain and mitigation so that you can prevent the occasional tankbuster from One-shotting you.
I have several personal but suboptimal experiences I'd like to share just to give you a better understanding of what it's like and it involves my experience with trying to get the Heavensward Firebird mount:
First of all you need 7 whistles. One from each of the Heavensward Extreme(Minstrel) Trials
I was able to get 5 out of the 7 lanner whistles for the Firebird mount from the Heavensward Extremes by myself as lvl 90 SMN in partial Radiant/Augmented Radiant gear. The only two I couldn't get were Thordan and Sephirot. They had tankbusters that they would use that would oneshot me, even when I'd pop Carbuncle's Aegis shield at full health. Sophia was doable but I had to respect her mechanics else she'd straight up murder my ass or I'd slide off the platform. She was a great example of a "Fair Challenge".
So I basically needed a little help with Thordan and Sephirot but the good news is I didn't need much help, a 2nd or 3rd lvl 90 dps is more than enough to help provide enough burst to skip mechanics.
I did Coils much later as SMN and they were all easy. Only the final fight in Coils had me respect mechanics but it was still doable as a SMN.
(To quote someone from another thread. I don't remember the name sorry.) " ARR Ex Primals are made of Glass". Garuda couldn't survive my opener. She died on the spot before I could reach for my first astral flare during the Bahamut timer before the SMN gem charges are set. Ifrit and Titan Ex were dead before I could finish my full rotation.
So it's not really as hard as you'd think but some classes are superior to others but if you have a lvl 90 DPS of any kind, go ahead and give it a try. See how long you last. You'd be surprised. I sure was.
now Stormblood and beyond...heh...I never tried that yet. I just wanted my beautiful golden birdie. I'd imagine it won't be a cakewalk because the bosses would have too much health to be able to burst them down fast enough alone. You'd have to be able to outsustain them and respect mechanics.

WAR as many have said, or if you know your ninja combos well, they can do you good for HW and prior fights. I did a lot of Coils of bahamut on Ninja, just have to be careful on some. Some, like a certain fight..... are a bit harder but definitely doable with WAR.
WAR Decimates everything. No pun intended.
