going to ignite a already burning topics, but here today on my server, a nice gathering was happening, litterally 8 brd singer, gathered and played music (having never witnessed a concert myself i was really interested !!!! so i stopped and watched it
then suddenly it happened,

all character instantly and in absolut PERFECT syncro changed gear :O
so yes multiboxxing is a thing, but having a program that actually control and macro, all account to switch gear in an instant, isnt this forbidden by SE ? isnt this actually considered "botting" ?
im seriously confused here ...

and yes needless to say, during the actual concert they were in absolut syncro too ..., was nice i agree, but still feel kinda puzzled about this ;(

It is not legal to multibox in FFXIV, I don't see why bards should have more rights than any other player... people would be pissed if the perfect multibox cleared savage content and the likes.

I think the GM's and SE should strike down on it.

While harmless here, it does kind of set the precedent that yes you can have mods and programs that will input commands into the client for you and SE will allow it.

You already know the answer to your question, and you know you do. The strikes me as the same as that kid who would raise his hand in class to snitch on someone because they could. Don't be that person, those Bards aren't hurting anyone. They inject some much needed life into this game and its hubs.
