There is alot I loved from Endwalker, and that I enjoyed in 6.1 (The music in Aglaia raid is some of my favorite in the game.) What I loved was how it it made me a fan of Venat /Hydaelyn. I entered the expansion expecting Hydaelyn to be the big bad of the saga, but I really liked what they did with Venat and explaining what she did. Which is interesting as I have seen people here say the complete opposite haha.

All in all there is not much I did not enjoy from the expansion. I loved the Loporrits. Elpis. Venat. Our dinner with our favourite nemesis as well as the meal with the Scions. My personal highlight, however, was Ultima Thule. The next expansion will have to work hard to top that experience!

How easy it made the decision to unsub for a while and play FFXI.

On a more serious note, I enjoyed Tower of Zot as a dungeon, though I wish they kept the idea that dungeons can have more hectic and fun mechanics in all dungeon boss fights.

There wasn't much I didn't like about Endwalker, though it wasn't perfect.

-The existentialist themes and how they're well explored were very enjoyable.
-While it was underwhelming as a mere dungeon boss, Anima is one of my favorite summons and getting to fight it in this game was awesome.
-Standing on the moon and looking up to see the planet in the sky always evokes a sense of awe, like you finally realize just how far you've come since stepping up to protect a beggar falsely accused of stealing some nice chicken tendies.
-While their presence in the second, "proper" visit to Labyrinthos was poorly paced (as was the whole zone, really), the Loporrits were equal parts adorable, hilarious, and wise, and I love them for it.
-The opportunity to connect and empathize with Fandaniel, in both his Hermes and Amon guises, was very touching to me to know that deep down he is just a troubled person.
-Venat / Hydaelyn being neither pure good nor pure evil, just a person doing what she believed to be best even knowing it was morally reprehensible and she would be reviled for it; not only does it paint a very human picture but it also shows that she has unbreakable conviction.
-Zenos smacking Jullus upside the head with Nietzsche 101, and Alisae throwing his hedonism back in his face.
-The Final Day and the Duel at the Edge of Existence.
-All of the music was amazing. All of it.
-RPR go brrr. Enshroud is sick, bro! (Still testing the water with SGE, I stopped healing at the end of 2.X and picking it back up with a Job auto-leveled to 70 is proving... just a tad difficult.)

Honestly, I loved everything! So many unexpected twists and turns in the MSQ kept me in a chokehold for days! There were even times when the emotions and themes of the story gripped me to the point of crying. If I could, I would erase my memory of the whole thing, just so I could relive it and be in awe for the first time again.

It came out at the perfect time for me. Often dealing with depression, I used to struggle emotionally everyday to do anything. Nowadays I'm better, but the overall message of "Forge Ahead," in EW really did help me come to grips with reality and my emotional state/thoughts as a whole. I can't wait to see what they have cooking up for us in later MSQ!

And "Close In The Distance," is such a God Tier song, oml.

Tbh, I actually liked the look of that dungeon. It also reinforced the fact we were going to deal with eldritch horrors when you went up to the second floor and saw the "human" enemies. Boy, the story sure dropped after that dungeon though. :/

I really liked The Final Day Trial, as well as The Dead Ends Dungeon.
Both sections were really gripping. A Dungeon exploring & telling tales of 3 of the stars Metions Sisters have been to. And then that last Trial was just really fun and exciting. Especaly the scripted "part"

I guess Ill also add in "The Walk" game was an emotional Rollercoster for me, and I loved every second.

Just imagine your character peacefully walking toward one of the NPC that saw it as the most trustable/heroic living being and once it arrive in front of said NPC, just stab it with a peacefull smile, camera switching between the face of your character smiling normally (no over exagerated weird smile) and the NPC chocked and distressed faces.

Everyone around is chocked and Zenos go away while wounding as much people as he can on his wake (still in your body no one know it's him), give you back your body while you're about to die in garlemald vincinity and the Eorzean alliance found you unconscious in the snow. Now that would have been drama + drama material for later !
