I am wondering if there will be a wipe of progress made in the 2.0 beta/trial since it will be the first out-of-house testing done on a big scale.
There isn't going to be a "beta", on the PC end. the "beta" is 2.0 and there will be no wipe at 2.0 or at any other time.

NOBODY would be investing any serious time in the game right now if they knew their stuff was going to be deleted.
