Job Adjustments in PvP and PvE were announced in the previous live letter.
During this last one, they did mention penalties for leaving would be more severe.
Frontline wasn't mentioned specifically in either one, but these things will surely impact it.
15 - 20% reduction in damage for melees.
35-50% reduction for Casters
30 - 40% for Rdm
Also a Chain CC Limit cap of TWO (2). Auto Fetterward for 6s after chain cc cap. Significantly balances a lot of lame play that could be involved.
NO. I already cant kill stuff with all my CDs and LB - buff rdm back to how it was.
My take stays, remove tanks and healers, then balance.
And remove that Pala-cover cheat.
You may as well make it all BLU pvp if you're going that route.
All jokes aside, are you willing to go back to everyone being deleted in 2 secs, especially with how limit break regenerates outside of combat?
Thank you. Your suggestion of all BLU PVP would be far, far preferable to Kuroka's alternative - and it reflects that while important and fun, PVP is also more than , and is designed around, more than just "killing stuff".
I'll gladly give up all DR if it means ninja or monk can't 1v5 anymore and still get out but die in 3 seconds instead as you should when diving in like an idiot.
I said remove them and then BALANCE. Imo as long as theres a random number of tanks and healers you cant really balance it at all... Or let ppl play tanks and healers but give em dps stats.

Guard no longer reduces 99% incoming damage only protects you from CC.
Chain Saw 1 shot removed, give it an additional use ( 2 cs )
Reduce the CD off the normal / basic attacks
Purify doesn't remove heavy/slow if the target is mounted.
Huton doesn't increase your movement speed anymore , LB will not 1 shot the target affected by guard.
Chiten debuff will only affect the target you are currently facing/targeting.
Chiten uptime needs a better visual effect until expires instead of the initial blinks.
Poly WHM can be purified.
Pld/Drk LBs needs counter play, they shouldn't be invulnerable for 10 seconds without nothing to do, besides ignoring them, they are a huge pest in Seal Rock or Onsal.
Those are my dream changes. I haven't play Bard/Dnc/Ast but I swear they still have lots of problems.

If you give up all forms of DR we're going to end up going back to melees being nonexistent, ninja being the only exception. Today's kit just doesn't support survival options for frontlines since it's more fast paced. Instead of just going in and dying in 3 secs like you're suggesting you'll end up dying before you can do any meaningful damage
If anything, I would like for the dr to be reduced, not removed.
