I'll take Frontlines seriously when SE does.

I gave up reporting people a long time ago for afking. Too many people not caring these days. However, everyone will care if you take frontlines seriously and dogpile on you. So I hardly say anything, even if the team needs a leader. Frontlines roulette is just another pve roulette to me.
Honestly, it has gotten increasingly difficult to just move forward instead of looking back. It's painful.
What i would like to be done, is incentive the win vs (2nd/3rd place)..
Like they are doing for the event tome: you get 5 if you win, 3 if you get second and 3 if you get third..
this should apply also for exp, wolfmarks etcetera... So ppl would be more inclined to try to win instead of cheesing a second place. I can't count HOW MANY damn times ppl start shouting: "just go for second place, you get more stuff"
There are straight out various achievements that gives mounts for winning, that's already a huge incentive. And the rewards from the match itself (not the roulette ones) also depend on your placement. What i would like to be done, is incentive the win vs (2nd/3rd place)..

But sadly, people who only queue for xp would never find any reward big enough to warrant putting effort in something they hate.
I truly wish it was like pve where as soon as someone afks they're kicked and leeching is not allowed. The OP's proposal makes sense.
It's PvP, it's competitive by definition. If people don't wanna compete they can keep to PvE. Winning is literally the whole point of PvP.
Plus as I said above, good luck getting the mounts if all you do is lose.
My hopes are extremely low, since all they do is make Frontlines worse and worse, but isn't 6.2 supposed to bring additional Frontlines changes ? I'm hoping for some details in the live letter on friday.
Maybe they commented about it verbally in Japanese but I saw no slides about it no
Was really hoping for matches with smaller number of players if the queues are too long. Also slightly disappointed that Rival Wings is just the return of Hidden Gorge, I was kinda hoping for a new map or Astragalos return.
I really liked Rival Wings, I found it fun out of all the Frontlines style gamemodes. Too bad it wasn't popular and the queues took forever.Maybe they commented about it verbally in Japanese but I saw no slides about it no

I'm hoping for a revert on the sustain buffs, my WHM is barely tickling people. It's really depressing considering WHM lost a lot of healing ability only to wind up the same strength as pre-PVP rework. So I basically lost more then I gained in Frontlines.
Oh yeah, I used to be WHM main in pvp (unlike pve where I hate whm), because it was the most healing healer, and now it's the only healer I don't play in pvp, just like in pve, because while all healers lost a lot of healing WHM lost pretty much all of it. It's so sad.
Stop by Balmung in 3 hours and I'll show you.
