Outdoor tricks?

I know you can float and clip and all that with indoor furnishings, and the large variety of them have produced a number of things that make that easy.

But I think what I just thought of is going to be rather hard.

The minature HoH tower, with the new bonfire on top of it.

Indoor tricks are easy, but outdoor is hard - think there should be an update where you can move items on an axis (Red up, Green right, blue left). There is YouTube vids showing that stuff.
The only outdoor trick I know is putting stuff in fence - item you want in storage, put down, move camera so the cross is on ground inside fence, then use Numpad * to place it and press ESC.
