Seems fine to me. Frankly outside the craftable Moonfire and Coeurl sets i haven't found that many bikinis. I do hope it would be dyeable though since Black doesn't mesh that well with my current self.

Can confirm from a certain.. beach party discord that the outfit is indeed dyeable.
Aaaand that's all I need to be sold on it. Again Black clothes would just blend too much with my natural colors. Hell I didn't even notice that Skyworker's Singlet has an arm tattoo because my black scales hid it too well xD
Its perfect for beach wear, and as we Aussies are headed into spring soon.....nothing disappointing at all.New Moonfire Faire disappointing glamour
Dont be so gloomy...![]()
The "wahh" moment? Am I not allowed to voice my personal opinion on the matter? I'm not demanding the devs change something, I'm not threatening to cancel my sub over this or anything like that, which you see in other threads where people DO throw tantrums and being dramatic for no reason. I believe I was respectful in my OP, I didn't call anyone out, I didn't say anything bad about anybody, I was not being aggressive towards any individual or even the devs. So no, it was not a "wahh" moment or me throwing tantrums. The impression I got from your OP was that you weren't even really mad about the shorts either. You went on about variety, and the lack of it with the glamours in FFXIV. You also mentioned that females always seem to get the best stuff when it comes to glamour items. That was a "wahh" moment.
The other thing I will mention is of course glamour items seem to always look worse on male avatars. They're males.
See the blatant fallacy in your observation? I sure do. I personally don't see a distinct connection between female characters and glamour that should by design be good on them because "BUT THEY'RE FEMALES!!!"
That's subjective and I do not agree. 80% of all the battle gear just looks ugly on anybody, but males also do get the uglier version usually.
Also subjective. I like my light and elegant glamours on male elezen, they don't look "troll" or "silly" or out of place, and they sure do look better than if it was on a female character IN MY OPINION.
Wow. That part was completely unexpected for me. Are you even replying to the right person? First of all, I never had any issues with your "gender norms" or whatever, I didn't question it nor did I even say anything about the latter. You want to push your shit on me so bad for no reason. I don't even have to say anything to that, because, surprise, I actually agree with you on this one for the most part, but you decided to be passive aggressive thinking I was some twitter npc pushing my agenda on others when in reality all I wanted was more options for male characters when it comes to glamour.
That's also not true and actually is funny. What would you say about males from 17th century wearing heels and wigs, as well as using cosmetic for their faces while being attractive and desirable to females of that time? What would you say to long dress-like garments for many pieces of fashion in different cultures for males also? The things we wear only represent what people find attractive in this day and age and it was never as simple as you describe. There's no "natural order" when it comes to clothes, the perfect image for male and female fashion is not genetically ingrained in us, it's about human psyche and how we perceive things through it today, and human psyche is very flexible, unlike the rest of our body.
Onwards with passive aggression. Did i say I want to wear a dress? If that was so simple I would've done it. Why be so binary and restrictive in your thinking? You know, we can have things between the general "feminine" and "masculine", and even the feminine and masculine can have different shades of it, but we only get the extremes, not the in-betweens.

I'm a Thighlander so I enjoy showing off the goods, but I'd much prefer the shorts or even a short sarong style skirt instead of another bikini.
It really implies that all the previous Moonfires came with Bikinis which is weird considering that for last 4 years only one did. Considering that at least in the realm of possibility for a newer player there are at least for where I am (Post SB, level 70 crafter) only two pieces of that (craftable Moonfire and Coeurl) I won't say no to another in a different style to those
