Should have been unisex. I would totally have my femviera in those shorts![]()
I've seen this one before on a bill board for some club!
As one of those traditional people, I can assure you I don't want you shoved in a closet or worse. However, I will never abide by your driving principles. I will ALWAYS find a man in a dress to look absolutely ridiculous. If thats your thing. It is YOUR thing. Dont expect me to just stop thinking its ridiculous.
I have found 'your people' to be far less compassionate. Demonizing any who don't conform to your ideology, or those who deviate from it even if only slightly. I've never met or encountered a more privileged, more entitled, loud and bigoted group of people than the group you associate with.
Take this event. As soon as I found out the gear was gender locked, I knew I would find this thread here filled with gripes. Most conservative people won't complain. And if the items were not gender locked, you would still be hard pressed to find complaints centered around "why isn't this gender locked? Guys look ridiculous in the bikini bottoms"
This should speak volumes
I'mma use those shorts to cosplay Yun Seong from Soul Calibur, mark my words.
It's not really heinous though. It's a reasonable opinion through n through. I prefer the restriction as well. I prefer the sexes have different looks.
The male shorts look awesome but I love the set us ladies get so I'm content

Ok, this thread is NOT about me being mad over items not being accessible to both genders. I simply didn't like male shorts. That's literally it. Please stop throwing tantrums over pixels in a video game - it's never that deep.
Gender restrictions have nothing to do with a fantasy game. If anything, a fantasy game should be totally free of any sort of gender restriction.I'm also a fan of gender restrictions.
This is a fantasy online game and it should stay that way.
Of course you can wear what you want, what you like...
But do you walk around as a man in real life in high heels, fishnet stockings and a bikini? Or another skimpy outfit?
There is no Alliance raid without a Hrothgar or male Viera wearing B2 stockings and shoes, or a maid outfit or some other ugly revealing outfit.
The same applies to female characters :-), who walk around in bikinis 24/7/365, even if it's snowing and doesn't fit into the game at all.
Has it ever occurred to these selfish people that not everyone wants their sexual orientation imposed on them?
That there are still people who want to play normally?
Certainly not.
Has it ever occurred to you that those people aren't trying to impose their sexual orientation on you while you're trying to impose yours on them? Obviously not.
You are the selfish one, not them. You're trying to force them into your mold. They're just trying to live their lives as the people they are.
What someone's sexual orientation is shouldn't matter to anyone not involved in a romantic relationship with that individual.
Guess what? "Normal" is a concept created by control freaks to try to control what others can be. The truth is that being different is what is normal. No two people are like, except sometimes identical twins.
We need to stop pushing people into hiding because they don't fit what some control freaks want others to be. It's time to embrace diversity instead of limit it.
