We've had that same thread about the game so many times that at this point the coffee/tea debate is honestly far more interesting.
By having Y'shtola open a coffee shop.
That serves proper English scones, but not tea.
Especially not Earl Gray, even my tea-swilling spouse hates that dirt water.
I would actually be pretty interested in a scion getting left behind. Could make for an interesting sub plot with perhaps a later version of a corrupted scion member of some sort. Urianger or Thankred would be a good choice imo. As for criterion, eh. I have doubts it will be overly plot heavy so im kinda checked out on that front, but I do also hope the rewards are good. Id love to see square broaden their horizons for rewards. Makeup, tattoos, extra CC related accessories would be a fast way to get EVERYONE running new content it seems.10 days till the next live letter, rather than this discussion about coffee what are some potential ways that the story/content side could course correct?
I'd love to see at least 1 scion stranded or left behind in the Fell Court of Troia, along with a full show of force from the new antagonists if they are somehow successful in breaking through to the Source and laying waste to someplace. I would like to see Vrtra's adult form be an attractive male Au Ra, and for him to take over the all-rounder role in place of G'raha Tia. I do not want for the twins to re-enter the story at this point, that would be an instant turn off for the MSQ for me.
I would like for the NPC for Variant/Criterion dungeons to be a new character entirely rather than yet another returned Scion, and for that content to both have good rewards/be engaging. I will not be doing Manderville relics, but I hope that the new EX weapons/crafted weapons are worth pursuing as well. Fundamentally I want the game to improve, but it is exhausting dealing with community members who usually default to dismissing the ways in which it could.
Girl I hate to say this but you should know how the Varshan thing is gonna go if you olayed ff7(og).10 days till the next live letter, rather than this discussion about coffee what are some potential ways that the story/content side could course correct?

It'll be a cait sith moment wherein DARKNESS of the void corrupts the doll and everyone freaks out and you have to kill the doll but Estinien reminds you Varshan was just a pupoet and Vrtra is safe in Thavnair a billion miles away from the Void spirits.
And we wont get adult sexy green varshan because people might get hyped we'll finally get a Scion (idk Vrtra says "Id love to travel with you guys since Thavnair is doing fine") who isnt an ff11 reject, and Yoship forbid anything new ever happen with the scions.
Is this needlessly cynical? Perhaps.
But since not 1 viera or hrothgar has had an actually meaningful role in the msq and the only Au Ra done good by msq was Yugiri, I dont see this changing.
I'm sorry for talking about coffee, but it wasn't my fault. ;-;
In general, aka on average, tea has less caffeine than coffee. This states that most teas will have less caffeine than most coffees, while also not stating that teas that use excessive amounts of caffeine or coffees that use barely any do exist as neither of these statements are true. Answer this question: In general, how many fingers do humans have? Five. Yes there are people with six, and people with four. But in general, they have five. Most teas have less caffeine than most coffees. Thus the statement "Tea in general contains less caffeine than coffee" is true.
I'm sorry I didn't mention your outlier brand of coffee that doesn't have as much caffeine. I'm sorry I didn't mention any outlier brand of tea that shovels in caffeine by the boatload. You happy now?
(Yes, I had to)
True XD
someone had to...
Yes, it was your fault: in response to a post using different kinds of coffee as an example of tastes varying, you decided to post that coffee was "bad for your health." That's entirely on you.
If you are going to talk smack about coffee, at least educate enough that you don't think espresso is an "outlier brand" of coffee. That's just too ignorant -- and something that could only happen in the US, I'd bet, where people for decades made so-called "coffee" in percolators, for gods sake!
I don't drink tea, but at least I know the difference between black, herbal, green, and Japanese ceremonial green tea (the last of which being the only kind I've ever liked.)
I mean what should we force the person whom doesn't care about the story to like it? Telling them to quit isn't exactly trying to be mean.Man, I really hope those around you, who love and care for you, do not employ this utterly silly answer whenever you have a lull in your life or make a few bad decisions. I have been here since day 1 of version 1 and as excited and full of hope I was when Dalamud came crashing down on our heads is as strong as how disinterested I am in the choices SE has made over the course of esp EW.
If you really care about something, you stick with it, even if its "just" a game (heavens forbid someone has real feelings for their hobby). And part of the caring is voicing criticisms just as much as it is gushing about how amazing something is.
Although I would also suggest if the main story doesn't interest you then focus on the other content that you find enjoyable and just skip every cutscenes from now on. Otherwise yeah, can't necessarily help somebody who doesn't have interest in the game.
Again it seems this thread has fallen victim to one of the usual tactics, derailing the conversation by starting petty and entirely unrelated arguments.
As for what I'd like to see, but really don't expect:
- In the MSQ Revisions to have certain codex entries be revised to be more accurate to events.
- Also in the MSQ Revisions additional text options added for the WoL added throughout the MSQ with Positive / Negative / Neutral options. This way no matter how the player / their WoL feel about certain events and characters, they could express that and no longer experience a strong disconnect between how they feel and what the story
expectsdemands they should feel. This should be added to reactions for Venat, Emet-Selch, Hien and any other divisive characters and moments.- The scions to start taking a back seat, it's time to move on, their character arcs have been done for a long time now. I'd like new characters with strong personalities and more interpersonal conflict.
- Islands to have personal housing. Again, not what I'm expecting, but what I'd LIKE to see.
- This one I'm more unsure if I'd want or not solely because I'm unsure it would be handled well or if it would be more of the same "This is what you should feel!", but I'd like to see what happened between Venat finding out about Metion and deciding to sunder all living beings. I want to SEE Venat's inner conflict / disgust at humanity / an accident leading to her sundering / a REAL attempt at stopping the final days... ANYTHING but simply keeping quiet till she snaps and ends the world.

You brought coffee up and I can go get the quote on your post in which you did.
Look up the word outlier. If you are going to talk smack about coffee, at least educate enough that you don't think espresso is an "outlier brand" of coffee. That's just too ignorant -- and something that could only happen in the US, I'd bet, where people for decades made so-called "coffee" in percolators, for gods sake!
