Actually cannot get a Ranked match

Exactly what it says in the title.
I'm on Primal and whenever I queue up for Ranked (at Diamond 5) the Average Wait Time starts at "Less than 5 min", but it just doesn't find a match, with the "Average Wait Time" slowly ticking up to match the Time Elapsed.
After anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes I get an error that says "Unable to register. Duty registration has been cancelled".

What's going on here? Is it just completely dead? If so, why is the estimate giving me false hope?

Kind of frustrating since I was hoping to try to get to Crystal again in the few weeks before 6.2 but every time I try I just end up wasting a bunch of my limited free time.

Maybe try queuing during prime time and not 6am....

I did, all day. I tried queueing up about once or twice an hour over the whole day and got the same result.
I only posted around 3am because that's when I finally gave up and went to bed.

I've also had "Unable to Register" errors. Typically only when they change maps. My Primal friend has been able to get matches back to back sometimes, and other times it'll take 10-15 mins to find a match, but they definitely have been running.

The message is because of map changing. Next time it happens check the server time.

I'm also Diamond on my RPR alt and on Primal. I've had 1-5min queues even in the wee hours of the morning.

Your issue isn't normal. I've very often had queue times above 2-3 hours back when Frontlines wasn't popular in ARR and I never got that error message before. Your account or computer or whatever is bugging out.

Did you try restarting your game / computer / modem?

I haven't tried restarting the modem, though I can get into other content, like Frontlines or Dungeons just fine. I'll give that a try.

We've come full circle with the same excuses as why feast queues didn't ever pop and it's only season 2 of CC lol.

I'm still having issues with this. What is prime time anyway? If I can only get a match between 3pm and 7pm (Pacific) that makes sense I guess, but it just means I'm SoL since I never have that time free...

Feast was actually dead. CC is not. I'm still queuing in the evening once or twice a week and getting pops within 5 minutes in ranked and unranked pops nearly instantly. And the prime time argument literally applies to any game. Even popular games matchmaking takes significantly longer if you're trying to get a match after 1am. Most people are asleep by then.

God I wish I could play later in the night as, when I can play, my queue times are 30+ mins long for Diamond/Crystal levels. :[
