Overall, I think the repair system is fine. As far as items under 100 percent condition...I personally think it would be acceptable if they could be traded between players (hey sorry, it's used, you'll have to repair it), but you should still need 100 percent for market wards. It isn't that difficult to put it up with dark matter and get a repair.

Or I could press a button repair the item to 100% and crafters can be important in some other way... It was more of an insight then actually complaining. I put it this way, I don't want to waste perfectly good left overs but their aren't any people around who can eat the rest for me. I just want a simple way to repair to 100% that doesn't involve a lot of /shouting and waiting. So I can sell my gear get it out of my inventory and do my part helping the community proceed.
If I didn't care I wouldn't be arguing logic and simplicity which fails to grasp some people and I would be perfectly content with trashing a potential sword that a noobie could use and laughing at the minor 10 to 15% of the gil I lose questing remembering that some people are actually worried about such a low percentage. I was honestly just trying to help the community but people would much rather try to re-invent the wheel in square form... It's counter intuitive but I'm done arguing perhaps one day things will change, until then you suckers can keep wasting your time waiting for repairs or leveling crafts just to do them.

Whats the trick to getting 99 leves fast?
I do dislike npc repairs to 99% - - I feel like the price is right If I want and item repaired it should be always to 100% the decision should be either I want to pay npc the big price or I want to get player repair for cheaper. But they should both be 100% :S

Needs to be more of a bonus to repairs. Such as getting to chain5=1% repair to all gear.

Repair system is pretty pointless and more hassle than it's worth. The main purpose of gear durability in some other games is to make crafting "relevant." However in XIV, we have fantastic recipes that are competitive with current endgame gear (with melding). I think gear durability is a poor gilsink and an outdated system that doesn't belong in this game.

Actually no i doo about 20 to 30 leves casually with my leve amount already at 99 i bounce on to my second character the next day and do the same when i get back to my other character the leves are replenished and i have a few bars of rested. I usually take a break from leves and go running round killing stuff and exploring or yes play another game, get chores done, spend time wih family, or do my college homework, oh have a full time job helps too because i think its every 2 hours or so your leves get replenish by 4 so my leves stay at 99 i never have to worry about gil, repairs, or running out of leves.
