Being frank isn't being harsh. Beating around the bush accomplishes nothing. It was a bad suggestion, plain and simple and I can't stand people who jump into ranked and only care about exp or event stuff that they could easily achieve doing unranked queues.

Nothing wrong with not sugarcoating things, however certain things really don't need to be said:

It's a stupid idea and you should feel bad for suggesting it.

"You should feel bad for suggesting it", like why say BS like this? I don't care that you and I have thick enough skin to just shrug it off, but this is downright rancid to say to someone.
