Assuming no changes to the enemy team UI (visibility of jobs, HP values and buffs before match starts), it would just result in potentially frantic job switching or last second job switching. Even with hidden UI, it would be an absolute ballache for one-trick players since people can just make comps / picks to completely shut them down.

    Being frank isn't being harsh. Beating around the bush accomplishes nothing. It was a bad suggestion, plain and simple and I can't stand people who jump into ranked and only care about exp or event stuff that they could easily achieve doing unranked queues.

    This isn't what is stopping you from climbing lol. Just get to a high enough rank and you've self-resolved your problem.

    Who said anything about climbing? I only played 2 or 3 days a week during season 1 and reached 1k crystal perfectly fine. Doesn't mean I enjoy dealing with people that are hopping into ranked and not taking it seriously.

    You're experiencing these sorts of people at that rank? I haven't seen any since Silver and definitely never in Crystal. Though there is a handful of lax players in Crystal that sit at 0 which are doing their own thing(but they aren't doing it for event and such as far as I know, its just the nature of the system since they can't drop.)

    Matchmaking doesn't take into consideration your points. Its why people complain about the lack of de-ranking and 0 point crystal players. A 0 point crystal player can be easily pitted against someone who is in the top 10 on the leaderboards. There's no real matchmaking when it comes to ratings other then looking at a tier range which is pointless.

    That said, I can't fault SE for not having a stricture matchmaking because the higher rated crystal players in the 2k+ range would probably have 30 minute queues for a pvp mode that's rarely longer than 2 minutes.
