Suggestion: Advertisement board

Could perhaps the Market Boards get expanded with an advertisement tab that would allow players/free companies to post recruitments or their venue/event spam for 48h?

Party Finder/shout being used for such somewhat works, but you can't be doing content while looking for new people to socialize with, which is a major issue.

It would make the life easier (even slap a small listing fee to it as gil sink if you want).

They should definitely make it a physical thing ingame like the market board that you go click to see all the social stuff. Free companies especially have desperately needed a feature like this as it's always been an absolute nightmare to find or recruit for an FC in this game. Your only real options for recruitment have been shout chat spam, sending tells to random players through player search or just try to talk to any random passerby to try to entice them to joining, all online boards for this stuff reach such a tiny part of the playerbase that it needs to be an ingame thing. With a system like this FCs could just leave a recruitment notice on the board and people go scroll through them at their leisure, easier for all involved.

already enough ways to promote cafes and venues etc. having to stop to "do content" gives the rest of us a break from the shouts. as Canadane said, thats the ENTIRE reason they added the "other" category in PF which most seem to ignore anyway and just use shout. an extra section on the market board would be just as ignored, so rather pointless.

If they made a different board for it, thats fine, but its not needed on the buying/selling board.

I think if they ever introduce the Community Finder as an ingame system, much like how Party Finder went from web to ingame, it'd be the perfect place for this idea.

The system already exists. At this point it's up the SE and the devs to figure out a way to implement in game if they even think that's a good idea.

I think in WoW they had a separate chat section just for recruitments but people spammed the Trade channel anyway just cause it was the easiest way for everyone to see it. I see the same happening here where people just keep doing it like they are even if they have the tools to do it a less annoying way.
