Game freezing or getting stuck in ps5 version

So this started happening around the launch of 6.1 and as much as I have looked I haven't found anyone with this same exact issue yet. This issue ONLY happens with ffxiv and not other games.

What's happening is I'll be playing the game and sometimes I'll go to type in the chat only for the ps5 onscreen keyboard to not appear. If that happens the cursor gets stuck in the chat window and I can't type or use actions or interact with anything. I can't even use the PS button to leave the game and restart the game. The buttons on the ps5 won't respond either when this happens. So my only way to get unstuck is to unplug my console the bad way and hope nothing gets messed up.

Another way this happens is I'll go to type in chat and I normally select the chat window then press the Triangle button to bring up the keyboard. Instead of it not appearing my entire game will freeze up as well as my console. I do a mix of typing with controller and a basic wireless keyboard.

I've tried reinstalling the game but have not tried a factory reset on the ps5 cause I don't wanna have to re-download everything right now. Like I said earlier this issue is ONLY happening with this particular game so I don't think it's my console that's the issue...

Does this occur when using the chat function in Final Fantasy XIV? Does the system freeze and shut off when playing any other game?
