When in EW, split the options for the lvl based ones to 1-50, 51-70, 71-80, 81-90. As this way you arent removing dungeons from the pool of options.

I also would like a way to promote doing these in sync. As now most trials are just quickly beaten in unsync, just to get rid of them. And for this i would suggest the following:
Upon completing any of the expert chalenges in sync, you are rewarded a token to move a sticker (and you can stack up 9 of these to allow a nice buffer). These can still only be used when the journal is at 7/9 or lower 9 and directly after a shuffle). But this should significantly boost the chances on 3 lines.

And with it, add a Journal Roulette. Instead of just focussing on a dungeon, trial or raid, it simply queues you for any of these.
It will not choose any of the lvl based options, therefor prioritizing on the expert content. Upon having nothing remaining in the journal (9/9), this roulette is locked.
If the additional sync idea would be applied, this roulette remains available to obtain thoes tokens (and after 9 it locks again)

How long did it take for you to get two lines? I'm just trying to get the tamamo headband, but the highest I've ever gotten was one line in three different occasions, out of many, many no lines.

Playing basically every week, utilizing shuffle at 7 seals to ensure at least one line, I tend to get a two-line win roughly every 2-3 months. Unfortunately, with little actually worth spending silver certificates on, I just have three years worth of them in my chocobo saddlebags...

I would definitely be in favor of more things to spend her certificates on. I would also be in favor of more things to spend achievement certificates on. (Remember those? You're still accumulating them! Forever! Give me the option to spend it on, like, dye pots or something consumable.)

This game has so many forgotten/ignored content that could use some tweaking. Not even actual game changing, just adjusting for us being on X expansion.

Honestly, you're better off getting the Tamamo headband from the FATE Foxy Lady. There are discord servers that will ping you when achievement and world boss FATEs pop, that's how i got mine (and like 15 fox pup room decorations)

I've been playing since 3.3 and I've gotten three lines once in all these years. And that was before they added the Certificates, so it was just whatever three prizes were in the pool that week.

Locking a line down would basically guarantee you always get 2-3 lines. You'd just sit there rerolling at 7 until you get 2 intersecting lines before locking down the third line that runs between the two of them.

Only reason to not always go for 3 lines is if it's the end of the week and you're in a rush to finish up but I'm assuming when the odds for 3 are good most people wouldn't mind waiting for it even if it cuts into their next WT.

Uhmm, that is possible. I am sorry I don't see it that way. They stopped veteran rewards and gave some vague new system. They then had a program that ran for one reward mount and never used it again. A pro SE person might argue that the mogtomes are the replacement for veteran rewards. But let us be honest the mogtomes are nowhere near close to old veteran rewards.



Now I am kind of sad, I forgot how much SE/dev use to care about players and the veteran rewards were really good. Full sets of gear, multiple minions, fantasia, and mounts. Weird they could reward players before opening something else, cough cash cough shop.

It's not just possible, it's what they did. In 6.0 we got the achievement window revamp and the achievement vendor's inventory was stripped down to some cosmetic items. It was getting to be too cumbersome and complicated to navigate his selection for whatever you qualified for.

Scrapping veteran rewards actually showed that they do care about players. It's a terrible and archaic system for rewarding people for continuing to play. Other games have eventually stopped. EQ2 stopped after 12 years.

There's plenty out there one can get for free and plenty of incentive to keep coming back.
