Locking a line down would basically guarantee you always get 2-3 lines. You'd just sit there rerolling at 7 until you get 2 intersecting lines before locking down the third line that runs between the two of them.

Only reason to not always go for 3 lines is if it's the end of the week and you're in a rush to finish up but I'm assuming when the odds for 3 are good most people wouldn't mind waiting for it even if it cuts into their next WT.

How long did it take for you to get two lines? I'm just trying to get the tamamo headband, but the highest I've ever gotten was one line in three different occasions, out of many, many no lines.

Playing basically every week, utilizing shuffle at 7 seals to ensure at least one line, I tend to get a two-line win roughly every 2-3 months. Unfortunately, with little actually worth spending silver certificates on, I just have three years worth of them in my chocobo saddlebags...

I would definitely be in favor of more things to spend her certificates on. I would also be in favor of more things to spend achievement certificates on. (Remember those? You're still accumulating them! Forever! Give me the option to spend it on, like, dye pots or something consumable.)

This game has so many forgotten/ignored content that could use some tweaking. Not even actual game changing, just adjusting for us being on X expansion.

Uhmm, that is possible. I am sorry I don't see it that way. They stopped veteran rewards and gave some vague new system. They then had a program that ran for one reward mount and never used it again. A pro SE person might argue that the mogtomes are the replacement for veteran rewards. But let us be honest the mogtomes are nowhere near close to old veteran rewards.



Now I am kind of sad, I forgot how much SE/dev use to care about players and the veteran rewards were really good. Full sets of gear, multiple minions, fantasia, and mounts. Weird they could reward players before opening something else, cough cash cough shop.

The one improvement I want is a tweak to what duties are available when. Currently you're locked to only level 60 duties and below, until you reach 90 and upgrade.

If they can't adjust it to have more grades of content unlocks, then I think the starting state should include duties up to 70 (as the player will be moving into 60-70 content soon enough) and/or you unlock the higher tier at 80.

Probably just starting out with more things in the lower tier would be better. Having the level 90 trials visible in the list is some instant spoilers for Endwalker.

This is the thing that actually needs to happen. I actually kinda gave up on bothering with WT a long time ago when it didn't have much for me to chase. Years later, I discovered there were new things to look at, and also that, being at current-cap of 80, I had a broader selection of duties.

I haven't bought EW yet, and am still capped at 80, and now entries are all dropped to <60? What's even the point of it, then? It's no longer serving the intended purpose of getting players into duties, because I can easily hit all 9 seals solo.

It's not just possible, it's what they did. In 6.0 we got the achievement window revamp and the achievement vendor's inventory was stripped down to some cosmetic items. It was getting to be too cumbersome and complicated to navigate his selection for whatever you qualified for.

Scrapping veteran rewards actually showed that they do care about players. It's a terrible and archaic system for rewarding people for continuing to play. Other games have eventually stopped. EQ2 stopped after 12 years.

There's plenty out there one can get for free and plenty of incentive to keep coming back.

I don't like the original ideas much, but I understand why they are being suggested.

More tries might mean getting the rewards faster, but I like having 2 weeks to work on one book, and being able to roll until my odds are best. If I tried that with a daily book, that's, well, begging for burnout.

Maybe the books should be a bit more customized, never contain anything that isn't unlocked by the level of your highest job.

Maybe the scrolls should be able to be upgraded, gold for 3 silver is a bit low, conversion rates always have a cost, I'd say 5 silver for gold, but watch the price of the gold rewards to see if they drop sharply.

why on earth would you reduce the time on it? People don't just burn through the duties they need in one day most of the time I'd wager.
