While I agree the old system was broken, the fact that we continue to accumulate achievement certificates even after they mostly did away with that system feels weird; we have a currency we accumulate that we cannot functionally actually spend on anything after a certain point. Hence why I think it would be reasonable to add a couple of consumable things to Jonathas' achievement shop, like dye pots or aetheryte tickets. It's not just possible, it's what they did. In 6.0 we got the achievement window revamp and the achievement vendor's inventory was stripped down to some cosmetic items. It was getting to be too cumbersome and complicated to navigate his selection for whatever you qualified for.
And honestly, I wouldn't mind some practical consumables -- like dye pots or aetheryte tickets -- being added to Khloe's rewards either.
Having some generally-useful consumables as a way to bleed off otherwise-unused currency in any system seems like a reasonable design choice to me.
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

I think they'd rather just leave it alone. If you're looking for aetheryte tickets, see your Allied Seal and Centurio Seal vendors.

I mean, sure. And if you want dye pots, there's always the returner campaigns and friend referral campaigns that give you golden chocobo feathers.
I just wouldn't mind more options to get useful consumables, especially if it's with a currency they're still giving us regardless; adding new things to vendors is almost certainly relatively straightforward. (A topic where I don't talk about the complexities of MMO back-end ecosystems, and actually say a thing is likely an easy change? I know, I'm checking whether there's snowplows in the Bad Place right now too...)
Let me use my ever-growing stack of Khloe's bronze and silver certificates on something I actually want, or trade them up to the next level if I have enough of them, or whatever. Etc.

Khloe's Bronze and Silver Certificates are best at the start of an expansion. You can get a nice stack of current level materia (combat or non-combat). There's going to be some more demand for this when 6.2 and new crafted gear drops

True, and that's mostly what I ever spend said certificates on; the stacks in my chocobo saddlebag are awaiting my next pentamelding torment window. But if I didn't craft or raid, there's not much I could use them on, and I do know friends who do neither and can't figure out what they could use those on.
I will definitely grant you that Khloe's got more useful consumable items than Jonathas does, though.

I wouldn’t mind idea 4, but not so much 1,2 or 3. It’s supposed to be hard to win, and also not something you can brute force daily.
I wouldn’t mind having multiple books available to complete over the week; Something like a 1-60, 70-90. Eventually opening to 3or so books as expacs release. Perhaps a savage book with better rewards.
Also, people gonna hate this, but they should remove the ability to do these unsync’d if the purpose is to funnel players into older content to help new players.

There's nothing to hate. They wouldn't bother. It's just a game of chance. If they cared about people doing it unsync, they would've put the restriction in, but there's no prize that would be worth it. Roulettes and mount farms do plenty to bring folks together.

Your not wrong; I barely do WT as it is.
I don't think I'd bother with it in that case. Rewards are already super minimal as it is if you don't need the xp, imagine doing ARR primals sync or something for it.
