No one said that. You confuse housing and house. While both an a apartment and a house are housing, an apartment is not a house and is lacking in features and space. The advertisement in my language mentions that we can build our own house. A house and an apartment are also not mutually exclusive. Personally I have a house with tenants on my main plus an apartment and an fc room on each of my characters because I like decorating.


That being said, there is no reason why I shouldn’t be able to have my alts as tenants. It wouldn’t affect the number of retainers that I have. I can already use our fc chest to transfer items or ask a friend.

I just did this to get used housing items i wanted on my alt for his apartment.. So dumb we have to resort to this.. most games have shared banks with like 10 spots or more to share with your self

Right now, the only way to have your alt characters use the same house as your main is this:
Login, teleport, use task manager to close game before it finishes casting, log other character, friend your alt and relog to alt to accept.

There needs to be a better way than doing that. So why not if 1 of your characters get a house, all your other characters can help decorate that house automatically, even transfer ownership to main if you wanted too.

yes way back hence (shortly after potd came out i believe thats when they patched it) why i didnt mention how my friends have alts on friends list plus not sure its good to mention old glitchs n how to do them but thats just me from older games.. you got banned for explaining any type of glitch old or current

I agree that we should be able to share between alts with ease.

I definitely think that housing should be account wide for private houses as it sucks having someone hog multiple houses by using alt accounts

but that's juts one of the many problems i have with FFXIV housing

I remember doing this in hw but at some point it didn’t work, I see people brought up being patched in SB and might as well been back then.
