Huh. Is that Sidurgu, Leveva, and Estinien fighting Good King Moogle Mogg?

It doesn't really make sense but if they're meant to be NPCs then I can't think of any other answer (besides possibly Leveva's grandfather since he wears the hat and she doesn't). I didn't think they were doing eight-man content for trusts yet though, and they didn't mention making it solo.

Can't say I'm going to miss it being a roulette trial, if it's going.

Also, the picture switching on the special site is obnoxiously fast. No time at all to study the picture before it gets snatched away from you.

There's a button on the bottom right of the picture to magnify it. It doesn't make it much bigger, at least on my screen, but it does make it hold onto one picture so you can actually see it.

That's what it looks like. They did say they were going to be changing it a bit. So if it is those NPCs then Estinien and Sidugru get to share in their dislike of moogles.

I think it's probably just PCs with those classes. There are two tanks, so it looks like it's still 8 man. And they say some trials were revamped but that's not listed as being added to Duty Support.

Been a while since I did it, but I think that particular circle design is new.

Edit: Definitely 8 man. I missed the scholar hiding in all the shiny.

Estinien's black version of the job gear is pretty distinctive (compare to the other picture showing him in Sohm Al), and the dark knight there is clearly Sidurgu's model. If it's not them, it's a pretty odd and distracting choice to just randomly grab their appearances. Maybe Sid is just the default dark knight, since (players aside) he's the only actual known living one left.

I saw a Twitter post the other day commenting on the image, and that person's take was that the image is showing a multiplayer fight and the "player stand-ins" were deliberate lookalikes of the moogle-hating NPCs as an in-joke.

That does seem more likely than it actually being turned into an NPC-assisted fight without any announcement beforehand, and with characters who shouldn't be with you at that point.

Yeah that was the other thing that was odd to me about that. We haven't met most of them at this point. Using lookalikes of the moogle-hating NPCs is hilarious.

It's strange, because I feel like that poster is representative of Pandaemonium, which isn't even part of the MSQ. I think the guy on the left and the guy on the right are both from that questline. I find it strange because I was sure that every poster SE has ever released was centered around MSQ stuff.

Not every poster cause there was the one for 5 1 which showed the WoD and 2P or whatever, then the one for the Eden Raid showing Gaia and Ryne and an Ascian in the crystal.. as well as others from different patches the 4 1 poster showed off Ramza etc. Check each patches special site and it will show a different main poster.
