I'm wondering about the tentacles and crow.

If you look below the crow you will see a snake. There is a story behind those two animals.

But I do see no spider, that thing in the back looks more like some wall growth/corruption thingie.

god just please drop a release date already.
Aint had a vacation since december and I only got 2 days thanks to yoship pushing it back 2 weeks. I had to work my other days off so yknow the constant "last minute"ry of Endwalker is just a touch annoying

It's the same as usual, nothing new to Endwalker. They will reveal the release date in the next LL.
August 23th is a safe bet though, since mog events last usually 1 month before the patch.

Probably in 7.0. I'm assuming it's the case, as it fits with their usual rate of producing new character designs (two every second expansion, but we got male Viera early). So that seems the logical release point, and anything sooner will be a pleasant surprise.

Would also make more sense to release them as one of the feature points of 7.0 together with the graphics update than to just have them fizzle in during one of the less attention attracting between expansion patches.

Like remember the bunny boy trailer from the Fan Fest. You can get much more hype and interest for them there than just your average patch Live Letter.
