Hai gamers, couple of questions.

what's the fastest way to farm currency for this event?

currently doing the Praetorium, and even tho im on 2nd run Im losing sanity from the amount of cutscenes.

also why are Demon Brick Earrings so expensive?

and lastly, when does new patch come out?

1. I’m not sure.
2. Because it’s the only “new” thing and they want you to stay subbed and playing.
3. Mid-end of August probs.

more than likely it’ll be running aurum vale with a full group of blue mages. after that probably HMHM as BLU. PVP isn’t a terrible way either if you can’t do BLU farming.

The event is meant to keep you playing, not to farm out and be done in a day.
Using the MSQ to farm the tomestones becomes a lot less sanity losing if you only do it once per day. You have about four weeks, you'll get more than enough stones chipping away at content for that time.

Moogle tome events are usually 1 month before the patch, so everyone is at least 95% certain we'll get the patch on August 23.

Pace yourself for what you want, if you run roulettes you're likely going to be getting things for moogle tomes anyway

There is always 1 glam item for the amount of 100; they've been earrings except for one time when we finally got the Inferno Jacket l...ast time or the time before, I don't remember. You do have some time to get a lot of items though, so if you do a couple of big payout dungeons every day you'll get plenty of tomes easily over the course of the event.

Pvp if you don't have a BLU to farm with(not sure which run they'd farm, assuming Vale if that's the easiest though).

Sadly I'll be doing pvp because my BLU is only level 44 and I don't have enough spells on it.

Prae also doesn't look too bad if you have things to do and you can time them during the cutscenes(although sadly not as afk as it was before the changes).

Someone said the earring transforms you into a - quoting - demon. not sure if true, but big if true
