NA worlds - move your garden patches into storage

Considering the nature of the emergency maintenance on the NA worlds tonight, I'd suggest moving any garden patches in use into the Storeroom before the maintenance starts to be safe. That way there's no risk to what's being grown if the equipment replacement takes much longer than expected.

If you're just growing shards, Voidrake or Althyk Lavender, there's no need to place your patches into the Storeroom.

I'm not too familiar with gardening, so I'm curious, but why would you do this? Does storing your patch preserve whatever is growing there and freeze it in time until you place the patch again?

So, would this mean I can store my patch before going on vacation or something like that?

Correct. A patch moved into storage freezes in place completely, and appears in your storeroom with the list of plants on it. You won't wilt while they're in there.

I would've been more concerned if they scheduled a 24 hour maintenance for this. Scheduling a fairly standard 6 hours made it seem pretty unlikely they'd need to significantly push it back.

Agreed but you never know when something will go wrong with new equipment being installed. Very easy for one key part to turn up as defective and possibly no longer being able to use the old one.
