I got 2 mounts out of 3... I am not touching FL... there is just no way.
Here are is my view:
You now may already know that PvP is crap in this game.
- The balance is crazy messed up.
- The maps are more annoying than fun.
- The matchmaking is nonexistent
- The communication blocking is not a bad idea for toxicity, but then why the hell do you put a map specific "trap" content into each map and don't let people warn your newbies about it. Sometimes I can literally see when someone is new and has no idea whats up and I cannot even explain to them... so they just need to run another 10-15 games til they figure it out. This coming from a game with the mentor / sprout system which is a bit surprising to me. In all other content you encourage people to help others, then a newby comes to this and they are fully deserted. Like wut?
- The report system needs adjustment as PvP in any game is painfully toxic. People grief with spamming emotes and standing in base and all you can do is report them AFTER the game with a very tedious process.
- On that note, I can't even mention enough that there are cheaters because it is clear they won't be able to do anything about this one. So I guess good luck to anyone to trust that your opponent is not cheating with any 3rd party tool. You can only rely on the previously mentioned suuuuper duuper reporting system -.-
- Blocking people should be fixed. If I block someone I don't want to see them in my pvp match... please! Fix this.
- At the start there were enough people to have 2 queues - pre-made and full solo. It might be shocking but people play online games to play with others and specifically their friends. Then they remove the ability to team up with your friends, wut? WUT? Insane! IF they rode out that starting flame, 2 queue would have been fully possible. As it is now all cooled down, not sure if it would not cause big queue. Such a shame that they missed out on this when in any other content they want to create a multiplayer experience "khm... housing.... khm... neighborhood feeling... khm"
- But the most concerning thing that out of all of these issues they only addressed balancing so far. Its feels like they just decided to let this die, even though it seemed they put quite bit of an effort into it (which probably means money too).
On the other hand, everyone says its much better than before, which I believe, but that does not mean its anywhere near where it should be on the scale of good pvp.
Ya know going from a falling plane to a sinking boat is not really that good, one just goes down slower than the other.
