The things that are killing the vibe for me regarding PVP are
- The amount of uncleansable limit breaks / abilities - such as WHM Polymorph.
- Random Nature of MCH's chain saw - Sure it's only 3% but it's super frustrating when it happens, remove it and buff blast charge or heated blast.
- One shot LB's that ignore Guard - Ninja and Samurai come to mind
The biggest peeve I have with PVP is how effective layering cc is.
You can legit be stunned for 10-15 seconds as a Tank and have absolutely zero way of counter playing.
If you purify you'll just end up chain cc'd again.
I legit don't understand why we can't have a diminishing returns system like WoW
- 1st CC of a kind is 100% duration
- 2nd CC of the same kind that hits you in a short period of time after the 1st is 50% duration
- 3rd CC of the same kind that hits you within a short period of time after the 2nd is 33% duration
After the 3rd CC of the same kind, you're immune to that kind of CC for a short period of time
So if you get binded, binded again and then binded again, you'll now be immune to bind effects for a few seconds.
