Frontline is the mount collector's hell.
The number of people who can't grasp the idea that breaking ice (70 and 300 pts) nets you more points then killing a player (5 pts). I honestly CANNOT wait for the day I'm done farming wins in this godawful cancer PVP so I can forget about it and never set foot in it again.
The only two decent maps in frontlines are Onsal or Seal Rock. The rest of them just take it easy they rely on zerging and wait for the first bots or noobs to pass the battlefield mounted.Frontline is the mount collector's hell.

I'd agree with this with one major caveat: PLD bug in Onsal has existed for five, almost six months now. It legitimately breaks the game mode and SE just can't be bothered to address it. So I'd say they have a single decent map.
Rival wings is good too imo, but SE refuses to put it in a roulette for some reason so it only gets played because the community organizes once a week or so to get it to pop.
PvP is just in a really bad state. SE is spending all this time doing reworks, but then totally ignoring major problems. They should probably focus on fixing game breaking bugs and getting people to play modes before they worry about things like overbuffing BLM.

Yet there are also plenty of instances where people religiously break those ices but still get stomped hard by that group who grinds their BH5s and become literally unstoppable at 2nd half of entire match duration. First half of frontlines are always objective heavy, while the 2nd half the objective isn’t as prominent.Frontline is the mount collector's hell.

On the topic… I still enjoy FLs mostly, but they certainly can get some improvement. Having a single melee DPS tanking a quarter of alliance by themselves shouldn’t even be a thing. Implementing diminishing return on CC could also be a good start, except the unique ones like RPR’s Hysteria & DNC’s Charmed. BH bonus and the rate which they are gained & lost could probably be tweaked as well (I personally think the healing buff is a bit broken now that it’s also paired with increased overall damage reduction especially on melees). Maybe make BH does slightly different things for different roles i.e in addition to increased health pool, tanks get additional damage reduction%, dpses gets increased damage%, healer gets healing boost & higher CC resistance… but idk. I’m no game designerJust putting that out.

Decent pvp before 6.1 was an accident and the dev.team made sure to fix it. It works as intended now.

I wouldn't call what we had before as decent....It was overall pretty garbage.
The general concept of what we have now is pretty good, but pvp will never be amazing in this game as long as there's no dedicated pvp team.

PVP in the game won't even approach good even with a dedicated PVP team unless they also completely overhauled the netcode and server tickrate of the game.
