I've reached a conclusion, CC is absolute trash and so are the Job bull**** abilities along with it, especially Monks that piss me off to no end.

Yeah, not gonna lie Samurai is kinda OP.... But it requires them to be hit while a buff is active so i don't really complain about it. fun fact about this, you can live through the lb if you use barriers that increase your max hp.5.0 pvp is way better than 6.0 pvp.
6.0 pvp is good for CC, in front it's the worst pvp gameplay I have EVER seen and played.
They should remove guard in front because you see like 4-5 enemies in guard for protecting a flag at borderland ruins. Then they retreat, and 4-5 other enemies are guarding at flag. And they re-do the same thing over and over again.
Also they really need to nerf SMR LB, just today, I died 5 times with the same SMR LB in 1v1. I was defending a flag alone, a SMR came, he LBed and I died with one attack......... The fight lasted like 2 seconds..........
I like 1v1 but SMR LB is over-cheated, what is the point to fight a SMR in 1v1 when you know you will lose the fight with just one attack ? Now, any players must runaway from any SMR in 1v1.
SMR players have no skill in fighting ? Just wait LB, do a 1v1, SMR LB, win the fight in two seconds ?

At first I wanted a full revert. I went from expressing myself and being able to be creative with my kills to being told how to play and actually having to rely on multiple people to grab them. I cant solo pressure without a limit break.
Now, I rather sit, watch, and have a good laugh. People wanted an easier way to kill? We got it. Healers dont gavee much of an impact anymore, bursting has become way easier with just 3 people without the limit break, Guard and Purify can be bypassed, and they took away diminishing returns to make locking down a player easier. I do think that the last part is overkill, because how is anyone supposed to escape in frontlines?

Let's not give the devs more work just yet lol. They already have to figure out how to balance frontlines to where it's playable.
Purify charges does seem more reasonable.
lol they would not be in this situation in the first place had they played both CC and frontlines to figure out how good/bad things are. they only have themselves to blame for this mess.
i sometimes feel that way too, there's potential with the mode but they refuse to even go all out on it.. we get like a handful of new things and told to enjoy it right before they go and ruin stuff in the name of 'fixing' things that dont need to be fixed. when they first released the new pvp system i had sooo much fun just ambushing people and killing them as a dragoon... now i cant just do that and i need to spend like 5 minutes to kill one dude.

Everyone is saying purify charges, but nobody is talking about immunity build-up? Don't get me wrong, I'm all down to purify having a second charge, but the idea of building a temporary immunity to certain CCs the more they're used on you sounds like a better alternative to me. Prevents spam stunning passively and forces the attacker to think about the when and how they CC. Purify would just be remain a "get out of jail free" skill. Of course, this applies to all CCs separately.
This is how it works in PvE. I have no clue why they wouldn't include this in PvP, but I'm no game designer.
