Stating the obvious:

No one can control anyone but themselves. We can all scream into the void that people need to play a certain way but it's not up to us how someone else chooses to play. In reality, no one has the right to tell anyone how to play unless the other person is asking for advice.

It ultimately comes down to if you don't want to play with anyone who has a chance of being "poor" in your eyes, then do what is in your control to improve your own experience so it's still enjoyable. Expecting threads like this to actually do anything productive is laughable because people are still going to play how they want.
