Bioblaster only exists as a roadblock to overcome in your machinery rotation. Get it gone asap and move onto the next skill. I think the reason for this is to introduce friction in the kit, because otherwise you'd be chaining high damage abilities like drill and air anchor. Although I will say getting close enough to use it can sometimes be a problem. I still cant stand the cast walking. Scattershot is really good especially as part of Wildfire setup or yeeting entire teams from the top of the stairs in Borderlands Ruins.

Generally I think the kits are too small to have bloat or useless abilities at this point in time though. I havent come across any yet.
