When levelling a combat class, once out of the levequests what is the best thing to do? Grind mobs? And if so is there any page or whatnot that has the best places for doing so?

Is levelling a crafting job smart for a first time player? Or should I level up some combat jobs first?

And the last thing. Why can I not alt tab without my game crashing

Thanks for any advice you guys are willing to share, really enjoying this so far!
Best bet for leveling outside of leves is to shout in Uldah for a party, or use the serch dfature, set your status to seeking party and your prefered class to what you want to level, then do some leves or craft while you wait (latter might not get a party, i'm not sure how many use it)

Leveling a crafting class before DoW/M is perfectly doable, but you could be stuck on leves or spending alot of time making money, if you really want to craft I would look at leveling a gathering class I see from your profile your a BSM, mining will save you alot of money in the long run so you don't have to buy ores all the time.

In FFXIVconfig change your display to Windowed, then change the resolution to the resolution of your monitor and you will beable to alt tab (its a known bug) you may have to disable snap if you want to drag the window beyond the screen so you don't see the title bar, and be in a psudo-fullscreen mode (you will beable to see a little bit of it, but apart from that it looks like full screen)
