I've watched the tournament for day 1 and I want to give some feedback to make it more exciting.

I will not point out specifics, but just the overall structure.

Best of 1 format doesn't work that well for CC because games are too short.

Best of 3 for Brackets and Best of 5 for Finals would be the best approach.

Even if every team was present that would have been just over 2 hours of content. Let's be honest, that was too short and hardly an event.

Once a map has been picked, put the map on cooldown for one turn so that way maps are rotated better.

The whole purpose of the event is to make it entertaining, draw more attention to PvP and showcase some good practices. Making an inside joke or meme about whether you'll see a map or not is cute and all, but it doesn't help involvement.

The map environment and the choke points were only mentioned once. We have a playerbase where people feel lost because of questionable matchmaking and the fact that there's a lot of casuals.

Pointing out the pitfalls, choke points, where there's a possibility of a comeback on a map and basic player positioning will do good to educate the overall player base. The advantages of breaking line of sight on Volcano for example, is something not many people do instinctively and sure we can label them as casuals or we can educate.

The tech team did brilliant work, the presentation needs to have a purpose. Hope it helps!
