I wish for something like Log Horizon (my fav anime ♥), and i would say a milion times yes! Can you imagine doing nothing, get tons of money, using MAGIC, be what you want, do what you want, in a FANTASY game??? Like, why is it even an option, who wants to live in this shitty ass world anyway

There's a bunch of other canon settings that I'd readily agree to being thrown into though I'm quite happy to live where I live in the real world. Eorzea simply doesn't compare.

If you do, you can never return to the real world.
As a game character you will be immortal because you won't age, but there won't be any other players, just npc's. If you die in the game it will be a real death.

Well, I'd try to live inside one of the starting cities only as a fisher or culinarian xD (or both).
My main char is now at Sharlayan, so this will be the place to stay, despite all things. If they don't allow me to stay there, then Limsa would be my home 'til sea swallows all u.u

On one side my character already have a comfy apartment, rich in gils and resources in general, and pretty steady daily income. On this front, I’d gladly live with these well established prospect!
But on the other side, I loved my WoL. I don’t want to become him. I want to bring happiness to his life. I want to stand proud by his side till death do us part I can’t do all of that if I took over him entirely.

Maybe I’ll just admire him from this side of the monitor..!
