I had no idea Rowena hate was this strong haha. Doesn't she employ older orphans and give them homes/steady income, aswell as let the younger ones remain in her employ while doing things they enjoy?

Maybe, but as a god killing walking weapon, i can do what i want. Making Rowena dead and throwing Ul'dah to the wolves is something i'd very much like to do. Whether Ul'dah can pick itself up and if the for now free slaves are going to just end in the same situation afterwards isn't my business.

Also, yes, i do realize that i'm being the perfect example of why we're all lucky humans can't have superpowers.

Rowena is actually a walking parody of something that happened in real life. For relevance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Company_scrip

Workers were more or less owned by the Company, just like Rowena's workers are. They are indebted and contracted to her. They are paid only in scrip which can only be used in her store fronts. Often these workers IRL (and just like poor Gerolt) only get deeper in debt no matter how much they work, thus keeping them under the company's (or Rowena's) thumb. Meanwhile, she rakes in all of the actual monetary profit of their work and they don't really see any of it, same as the IRL companies did.

There is a pretty famous song about all this by the name "Sixteen Tons." It's pretty good.

Nice! I would accept it. With millions on my bank and my own house, I would spent most time doing nothing. Maybe traveling to my favorite places like Mt Gulg or the Beehive ^^. Maybe trying out different things, which werent shown or explained in the game.

And after a while, when things getting boring, I would travel to the first shard, gather as much light as I can and went back to the source as a new lightwarden. Lets see how the WoL/Scions will handle that again.

Definitely. With the way the real world is right now, Eorzea would be a much better place to live I've finished Endwalker so it's the safest it's ever been.
