The insides of all housing is instanced. Why they can't expand the housing instances (larger apartments) they haven't told us. They just said they can't.

I seem to recall they said at one point that to upgrade apartments, they would have to basically rework them entirely from the ground up. Which would eat up a lot of time, effort, and money. There's also Yoshi-P having his breaks on about insisting we have 'neighborhood style' housing when honestly... the wards are just ghost towns anyway.

They just use the money they get from this game for others and not put it into this game to improve it any. Wish Microsoft would buy out SE then maybe we get the changes we want.

Honestly, I don't think it's just a money issue at this point. They do have time constraints and team size constraints, and you know that if they devote time solely to housing others will bitch about 'muh endgame content!' or whatever else.
