Is it possible to cancel a bid? And if not, wouldn't it be nice to cancel it if u change ur mind or see that the house u bided on has too many bids and would like to try on one that has less?![]()

You get a confirmation message when you go to place a bid so unless you're actively ignoring those messages, I don't see how you can place a wrong bid. If it's multiple bids by a single FC, you're likely coordinating anyway so that's the responsibility of several individuals to not make mistakes.
I'd rather not have the ability to remove a bid during an entry period unless it blocked you from placing another bid until the next cycle. The raffle really doesn't need people placing and withdrawing bids as it'll just become a tool for harassment amongst other potential problems.
No, thanks.
People are already holding their bidding right to the very last minute that it's hard to judge just how much players you're up against. First few days it seemed like you're up against 5 then suddenly it spikes up to 40 few minutes before the bidding period ends. Personally I don't want people to play cat and mouse, and/or discouraging individuals by having bunch of friends bidding in the same plot when in reality only 1-2 player will really pick it up because the rest will just forfeit their bidding right at last minute.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
If they did that people would run about like crazy swapping their lots and right on the final hour the system would be ballistic.
Player A bids on a plot.
Player A gets 20 of his friends to also bid on the plot.
Player B sees a ton of bids and moves on to find something less contested.
Player A's friends retract their bids at the last minute.
Player A wins the plot unopposed.

Pssh, nothing personal kid.
Let's not kid ourselves, the housing situation is broken in a lot of ways. It's sad when thinking of the wild west days of sprinting to an open house and buying it outright as nostalgic, lol.
Here is something you overlooked: you're probably not the only one with that idea. Meaning even if it's implemented, it won't improve your situation in any meaningful way. Worse, it'll just add more work for you to do in order to keep up.
Just make sure you're the first one to bid, incase player 0 is chosen again lol
