A house is only a meaningful incentive if you don't already have one but have a strong desire to get one.

Yeah, I thought more would migrate for have a higher chance for getting a house. Perhaps not.
I mean good for me, I can probably get whatever size I want for both my FC and personal.

They need to enforce 1 FC 1 House per DC, with backwards power, so all got it even.

SE Disagree they can easy enough see how the system is exploited currently, that they do not act on it as it is not an issue on JP servers is another side of the coin.

I am the only person bidding in the whole Empyreum ward of my choice. Seems like the new servers are not in high demand and so population is low. Launching two servers at once per DC helped neither. Market boards are also quite dead.

On bright side, it's quite easy to get a house the size you want where you want it. We will see how the FC lottery goes next round.

I suspect FC wards will look similar. Time will tell.
I’m sure market will pick up. Tbh the stuff I need to buy or to lazy to make is priced like any server.
As a omnicrafter it hasn’t been that bad yet.

I wouldn't take a current lack of bids on personal houses on the new worlds as a sign of anything at this point. We're only 30 hours into a 120 hour bidding period. I imagine by now most players know to wait as long as possible with their single entry to try to make it count. Other bids won't deter someone if that's the plot they want and that plot in every ward already has other bidders.

The more interesting number will be the total number of bids once the entry period ends. That will be the number of players looking for a personal house (at least as of this lottery period).

Just looking at the most desirable medium and large plots there was several with 0 bids as of last night. Entry period ends in a few hours so we’ll see if more people make bids last minute.

If I were to create a character and transfer some gil over for the purposes of getting a house, would I be better off doing so in Oceania or the new European servers? I was planning to create a character on the upcoming NA datacenter, but thanks to the delay, that's not gonna be happening soon.

Eu housing will fill up faster than that in Oceania. 6.2 is coming so I suspect it'll be better but there is no DC travel here on Oceania and duties are a lot harder to pop. The DF is very healthy in the EU.

Housing is everywhere on Oceania. Plenty of large and mediums on Sophia and I'm sure that is the case on the other servers which are less populated. I haven't looked yet in the EU but will look after this lottery to see how housing did on Chaos and Lite. I suspect the larges will go quickly in the EU but I could be wrong. Spriggan and Twintania took months to fill but once they started they filled very quickly.

There is several larges opened on the new worlds. However, most likely be gone after today.

Got my plot and just looking at Empyreum, only 3-4 plots per ward was taken (including sub-division).

In other words lot of plots left in private wards.
