Thats sounds really strange. To USA and back to Europe is not a correctly routing.

It goes from Lisbon straight to Canada and back to Europe.

There is nothing SE could do for you, its cleary a fault at your ISP, or something happend that forced every ISP to route this bad (damaged peering in europe).
