Log-in/Loyalty rewards?

Thanks for all your input and opinions guys! This may sound extreme to some people, and I don't want to come off as greedy or ungrateful, but I've talked to some friends in game and gotten mixed responses so I'd like to post it here to see what ya'll think.

What about Crysta? Like a small amount of crysta given to players who continue to pay their subscription.
Or perhaps something similar? Maybe expanding upon achievement rewards in game. I do really like some kind of Anniversary reward like a few others have posted.
Any other ideas would be awesome. Thanks again everyone.

It's not they don't care about veterans anymore, more that SE realized that it would be increasingly difficult for players just joining to get the best rewards unless they had been playing since the beginning (at the time the Veteran Reward system was changed, the highest reward that could be gained was Squall's Dissidia attire which naturally everyone wanted, but you basically had to have been playing for 3 years by that stage to get it - as you couldn't bulk purchase 3-years worth of subscription time at once, players complained about it).

Not surprisingly, SE changed it accordingly - the 'gear' rewards were given to the new 'Achievement Points' system, and the amount of 'Veteran Reward' tiers was reduced to 4, and the subscription time required to attain them was reduced.

Login rewards are mostly to encourage players to play in online games where player population is declining, or in online games which are at their effective 'end' and so it doesn't really matter too much. As FFXIV is neither, I don't see SE adding such a system for the foreseeable future (FFXI has it because that game is in it's Indian Summer and has a small player population).

I don't nessarily want some sort of daily log in reward because that will make the game feel like a chore or instigate FOMO regret, but I'd definitely like to see an expansion, extension, or refresh of the veteran rewards. Maybe add more for longer subs or just make new ones and give the old ones to Jonathas to buy with achievement tokens or whatever his currency is. Lord knows we don't have enough to spend those on.
