It would also be great if we could make men like Alistair and Cullen from Dragon Age, which I'm not sure if I brought up in this thread already or not. Bonus points if we get a natural looking ginger hair color as well.

Both frequent romances for my characters. I do particularly like how Cullen looks in DAI. Alistair is a lot better in DAI too though. Even some of the human males you can make in DAI look pretty good. There's this one reddit called 'Inquisition Sliders' that shows a lot of them.

You know, I do not believe I shall ever understand the constant overreactions to suggestions like this one. FFXIV is currently oversaturated with effeminate males, and while there is obviously no problem with that it's not so terrible for someone to want a bit more classical manliness somewhere. Some people here tend to act out, like people are suggesting they take all the effeminate men and replace them with classical manliness and that's clearly not the case. Far too many things in life are treated as zero-sum games, and it's getting out of hand. Sometimes, it reads more like some of y'all are more afeared of losing your monopoly on what the characters in game tend to appear like visually.

Every time people discuss more masculine options, I find it funny to notice that people often times twist things and start projecting stuff on themselves.

What can I say? I like looking at hot dudes, so of course I'm gonna defend it and platform it further. Bunny boi twinks just don't do it for me, so sorry about that.

An actual good looking male character is most certainly easier on the eyes. This game just doesn't offer much of that. Midlander is almost okay, but they are too short, and need way more options - more muscle definition too probably. Will have to see how the overhaul works out. Good looking western hairstyles would be a must, a hairstyle can really make or break a look.

Don't even get me started on male viera.. I used to be A LOT more vocal about them. They could have come out looking pretty good. I honestly don't think they even look that good for their particular niche - whatever that is.

I guess tastes are different, but tbh if Viera wouldn‘t have gotten Face 1 as an option I probably wouldn‘t have played one myself - even though I was very vocal about their inclusion. So I understand people that supported their inclusion that might have been disappointed with their design. Or the fact they lack a proper older looking rough option.

I just hope we can get further options with a future CC redesign. It‘s important that we keep threads like this going with a slight chance some of this will get through to the devs!

Unironically, some people really did want that for male viera, and I remember that as a reason given. Then again, I may have already talked about that in this particular thread.
