Is a Chocobo Companion rework needed?

Better how? Being able to fully cheese and survive S ranks and world fate mobs? Those are the only things they're not good for.

Even regular boss mobs can be a problem. If you're leveling a melee DPS and want to hit your positionals for example the pet would still be a poor choice because as a DPS player you have Second Wind, Bloodshed, and Potions. Your chances of surviving are better than your chocobo friend, so the question goes back to "Why bother" with anything other than healing stance?
